WELCOME!I’m Dannielle. I'm an MFL teacher from Doncaster (Yorkshire), but now living down south with my husband and our gorgeous little boy. I may be a bit biased, but I'm pretty sure he is the best thing ever.
I’ve been teaching French and Spanish at a school in Hampshire since I completed my PGCE in 2012 and have also taught PSHCE, ICT and dabbled in a bit of Textiles too. I’ve had several tutor groups, been an ITT student mentor for 2.5 years and also temporarily took on the role of KS3 lead co-ordinator for MFL a few years ago. I’ve been sharing ideas and resources mainly aimed at the MFL classroom for quite some time now. I share these here on my blog, as well as on my Twitter page, Instagram and Facebook. I’ve also shared lots of resources on TES during that time. I’m not quite sure exactly how it’s happened, but I seem to have built up quite a following over the years and I really love being able to share resources with educators across the globe, as well as learn from others online. Whilst on maternity leave in 2018 I was contacted by the lovely Hannah Marston at Bloomsbury Education who offered me the incredible opportunity of writing a book entitled '100 Ideas for Secondary Teachers: Outstanding MFL Lessons' (Amazon affiliate link). This is available to buy now and is full of fantastic and engaging MFL activities – some of these are my own and some are from other incredible educators who have kindly allowed me to share their ideas. The book would be perfect for trainees or anyone who wants a bit of teaching inspiration. Have a look at my '100 Ideas' page to see some of the reviews. Do get in touch if you've ever used my resources or ideas with your students - I'd genuinely love to hear from you! Dannielle x |
